I run monthly product based online scrapbooking classes. For my March class I used the Sunshine & Rainbows Sale-A-Bration papers which are really happy and fun papers, we also used the Rainbow Of Happiness bundles and made our own rainbow embelishments. The other gorgeous part of the kit was the Glimmer Paper which is soon to be retired, but it goes so well with the rainbow papers.
We made two layouts together, one was based on a sketch and one was inspired from a layout I saw on Pinterest. I had great fun finding photos that would go with these papers, and my Disney ones worked so well! Let me know what you think. The layout was based on a sketch from the Disney Scrappers forum, which is a very fun place to hang out on social media! I mean Disney and Scrapbooking, is there anything better?
The second layout we made was lovely, all neat and symmetrical, that's my favourite sort of layout and is the reason that I will usually use a sketch, else all my layouts would be neat and symmetrical and looking very similar. Do you like to use sketches when you scrapbook?
We saw these Lions whilst my daughter and I were in London and there were loads of them about, all decorated differently. I don't usually like to scrapbook photos without people in them, but these matched so perfectly I couldn't resist. Can you see that I have mirrored the colours in the lions and paper, the yellow lion is on the opposite side to the yellow paper as is the blue lion, and the middle one picks up lots of the colours so works well in the centre.
One of my favourite parts of scrapbooking is getting the perfect photo to go with the papers I am using, I do have a lot of photos to choose from so it can sometimes take a long time, but when I find that photo that works perfectly, it makes me very happy. My scrappy friends often ask me if I make my family wear colour coordinated clothes when we go out. However tempting that might be, the answer is no, I just think we are a well coordinated family! Well there was this one time.....but that would be telling.
If you like these layouts and would like to do the class, then please do
let me know. I have a couple of kits left and would love to share the class with you.
